Spay & Neuter Service

At Golden Paws Animal Hospital, we perform safe and effective spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats. Spaying or neutering your pet is important for two main reasons. First, it helps curb the amount of dogs and cats that are homeless – millions are euthanized each year for this reason. Second, it has important health and behavioral benefits for your pet. It reduces aggression, and even lowers incidences of some cancers. We take your trust seriously, and will make sure your dog or cat receives truly wonderful and compassionate care.

Dr. Lane is the most compassionate, trustworthy vet we know. He has a natural connection with our pet. We are constantly calling him for advice and he genuinely cares about our pet’s well-being.

Dr. Lane has cared for our family pets for over 10 years. He is not only gifted at taking care of animals, he is great with their owners as well. We are excited to have him in Golden!

I recently moved from the foothills and found Golden Paws. I called to make an appt. for my two toy poodles and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. When I brought them in there was a male assistant, he was very friendly and good with the dogs. The doctor was very nice, knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel rushed. My poodle was neutered here and he is doing great. They had some shots as well. I had a really good first experience and plan on bringing them back for teeth cleaning and all other health issues.

Probably the best vet I’ve ever been to. Glad to have discovered this place! Dr. Sam is just awesome. The location is also a treat. Pretty views all around and the place is nice attractive and clean.

Dr. Sam is so great. I have a lab mix that has severe anxiety about the vet and the mobile vet services are a life saver! They even came to my work office. It was so convenient and I know my pup was so much more comfortable. Their office is also great. Easy to get to and very very clean! So happy to have found Dr. Sam and the entire staff here!

This whole office is wonderful from start to finish. Dr. Sam is personable, thorough and funny! He even found a heart murmur in our dog that several other vets have missed. He did a great job caring for both our little fur babies – we even got text videos from them when they were ready to be picked up. I highly recommend this office!

It was our first visit and quite an exceptional one at that. We were greeted by Amy and began chatting about our dog Remi. Instantly Remi took a liking to her.

It was time for Remi’s appointment and Dr. Sam was very thorough. He was very informative and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns.

Anyone who needs a veterinarian, I recommend Dr. Sam at Golden Paws.

We brought our 8 week chocolate lab to see Dr. Sam and the crew today. This is our first family dog and the first puppy I have ever owned. Dr Sam took the time to answer all our questions. He offered tons of info on nutrition, training, health and a number of other topics. He made sure all of our questions were answered and gave us his contact info in case we had any follow up questions. I have already referred a close friend to the practice. I feel much calmer and confident raising a puppy knowing I have the expertise of Dr Sam! You and your animals will be in great hands at Golden Paws Animal Hospital!

Dr. Sam is absolutely wonderful! We have seen him in the office (great set up) and at our home. Bluebell the labradoodle loves him, and she doesn’t usually care for any vet. Dr. Sam gets down on her level and makes her instantly at ease. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

What To Expect

The first step is to give us a call to schedule your visit!

During your visit, we will ask about your pet’s history, run tests to make sure they are healthy enough for surgery, and explain what happens during the procedure.

During the procedure itself, your pet’s vitals will be monitored by trained professionals, and we will use modern technology to make sure the procedure is safe and effective.

Once your pet is done, we will advise you on after-care instructions, and will answer any questions you might have!
